Meet the Owners
Erin Broomhead
Erin grew up in El Paso, Texas and graduated in Family Studies from BYU Provo before becoming a full-time mom. Living with Cerebral Palsy has made her tough and resilient, and she approaches challenges with optimism and grace.
At Tried and True Auto in Salem, UT, Erin manages administration, customer service, and vehicle showings. She’s often the friendly face welcoming customers, coordinating service drop-offs, and keeping the shop running smoothly.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys crawdad fishing, mountain drives during summer storms, and dressing up for a night out.
Sam Broomhead
Sam was raised in Spanish Fork, Utah and studied Public Relations at BYU Provo. After roles in marketing, sales, and fleet management, he returned to his passion: the automotive industry.
With more than 11 years of experience building and repairing vehicles, Sam combines technical skill with a customer-first approach. He founded Tried and True Auto to offer what was missing in many shops: thorough inspections, honest recommendations, and a no-pressure experience.
When he’s not under the hood, Sam enjoys flying his airplane, fishing, experimenting in the kitchen, and road-tripping with his family.
